Our offices are located on Anson Road in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District. This dynamic area is a key hub in our city-state.

Twister has been an iconic brand in the refreshing ice-cream category since the early 80’s, always raising the bar with their deliciously refreshing and vibrant ice lollies.

The team’s ambition to update and harmonise the portfolio, and modernise this ice lolly’s expression, and establish it as an icon, revolved around market requirements for constant evolution. The need to be an experience-driven brand in order to connect with consumers more was high on the list, to engage meaningfully and create brand loyalty was imperative to keep up with the times.

How did we transform Twister?

Our help was enlisted to craft a refreshed look & feel in the form of a visual identity and pack design that would elevate emotional connection and act as an inspiration for future activations and brand discovery. The target group had not changed much, we were still looking to capture the hearts of the young and the young at heart!

Our bandworld

Together with the Twister Global Brand Team, we developed a system that harmonises the portfolio from Core to expressive innovations. 

Colour psychology and understanding was leveraged, all visuals were refreshed to deliver extra deliciousness, and use of contemporary typography resulted in a familiar yet refreshed look & feel. We enhanced the brand with a refreshed, dynamic and contemporary brand world inclusive of some activation ideas.

Lastly, to complete (and complement) such a dynamic relaunch, we paired up with D&AD to put Twister back to school.

As part of the D&AD New Blood scheme, we co-wrote a brief with the Brand Team to inspire the next generation of creatives.

There were over 13 thousand downloads of the brief in 89 countries and 277 entries, making it the 5th most entered brief of that year.
