FLiNG shortlisted for Best Use of Packaging

Written by

We are delighted to announce that our work with Nature’s Way Foods to create FLiNG, a new salad kit brand, has been shortlisted for Best Use of Packaging by the Transform Awards Europe.

Now in its 12th year, the awards recognise best practice in corporate, product and global brand development work, with categories that focus on strategy, execution, content and evaluation.

FLiNG. More than just a bit on the side.

Our shortlisted design, FLiNG, came to life when we were given the opportunity to create a new brand positioning, name and pack design that would inject colour and excitement into a category that was lacking inspiration.

Working with Nature’s Way Food, the UK’s leading salad manufacturer, we held strategically led co-creation sessions to help define the personality, name and visual expression of this new brand. FLiNG was born to inspire consumers to bring passion and playfulness to their meals.

Developing a unique and vibrant packaging design, we broke category norms and captured the brand’s personality with a tongue-in-cheek tone of voice. Using bold bright colour in the packaging, we helped FLiNG to stand out amongst the sea of green within the salad aisle.

The Transform Awards is the only awards programme to benchmark excellence in rebranding and brand development and we look forward to the final result announcement in April.
