We worked closely with Nomad to bring to life their vision for the future of frozen fish across Europe.
We were tasked with helping Nomad to celebrate and champion the quality of frozen by communicating the superior freshness and taste that this method brings. We needed to make a shift change from an identity that had once been focused on convenience, to a design that cued quality and confidence.
At the heart of the packs, lies Nomad’s iconic captain. He’s always been a famous brand asset and a figure we all remember from our childhood. The time had come however for his image to be evolved so he could deliver Nomad’s new focus.
We linked the captain back into the icy cold ocean, where he feels at home, braving the elements to bring us the freshest, best quality fish. After commissioning Chris Mitchell, we worked with him to craft this truly iconic ambassador, one that we can believe in. Now he looks to the horizon, focussed on the future as well as his vocation, never looking back, always steadfast in his quest.
Beyond transforming the captain into an icon, we evolved the brand further, exploring how to communicate Nomad’s Responsibly Sourced promise. By unifying this with the ‘Fresh frozen at sea’ message, we were able to tell everyone they’re serving the freshest fish to their families. We encouraged everyone to scan the QR code – tracing the journey of their fish, from where it was caught, to how it reaches their plate.
Completing the story – we worked closely with David Loftus to photograph each dish, capturing the fresh, white flaky fillet through to the crisp, golden crumb.
