The Intercontinental Ljubljana would be the Slovenian capital’s first five start hotel. With fine dining an essential ingredient, the hotel’s roof-top restaurant needed branding to match its stunning menus and panoramic views.
The key to delivering this heightened luxury experience was to uncover an idea for the restaurant’s identity that was as unique as its location.
Prized amongst Slovenia’s natural ingredients is the honey of the native Carniolan bee. So, it seemed right that these tiny but precious creatures should be celebrated in what was to become the hotel’s B culinary concept.
With its rich, luxurious but contemporary cues the name and striking visual motif helped to create and compliment a beautifully refined guest experience, appreciated by travellers and locals alike. Our work with IHG received Bronze in the 2019 Transform Awards Europe for best visual identity from the travel, leisure and tourism sector.
