1HQ work with CIF and Nomad wins at Product of the Year Awards

We are delighted to announce that two of our recent brand innovation projects with CIF and Nomad won at the 2021 Product of the Year Awards.

Product of the Year Awards is the UK’s largest consumer survey of product innovation. With over 10,000 shoppers voting each year to crown the winning products in each category with its famous red seal of approval.

Our latest project with Cif to help create a new Anti-bac SKU within their power and shine range, along with an eco-refill range, secured an award within the cleaning category.

Cif Anti-Bac and Shine Range

Chris Parker, Cif Global ABM commented,

“We saw an opportunity pre-COVID for a disinfection range under Cif which was differentiated to what was already on the market. We developed a proposition which not only kills germs, but also contained a naturally derived cleaning ingredients and a fresh, biodegradable fragrance – reassuring consumers on the safety of the product.

When COVID hit, we had to work seamlessly between global and local teams to ensure we could land this range in market with a proposition which was truly appealing to consumers, we even tested our products against Sars-CoV-2 to strengthen the proposition further. 

With 1HQ’s vision, we were able to bring this proposition to life, ensuring that the design elements not only travelled across multiple formats, but also maintained our key cues of disinfection and natural ingredients.

1HQ’s strategic work across the wider Cif portfolio meant that they could envision how the Anti-bac & Shine range would fit with the rest of the portfolio, but also have it’s own unique elements to be a stand-out disinfection range!”

Green Cuisine also won an accolade within the Free-From category for their chicken-free dippers.

Working with Nomad, we helped to define the brand strategy for Green Cuisine, creating a considered pack design which has since been rolled out across Europe.
